Benefit Screening at the Million Dollar Theatre in Los Angeles Nov 5

The 1951 version of M will be playing at the Million Dollar Theatre in Los Angeles on November 5th, 2015, from 7 to 11 pm. $35 per ticket, all funds go to save the Angel's Flight railway, which was a filming location for this movie. Of course, another location was just across the street from the Million Dollar Theater.

The cinematography in the Bunker Hill neighborhood provides a wonderful time capsule. Other films in a similar vein are ANGELS FLIGHT (1965), KISS ME DEADLY, and THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN. And, of course, the splendid docudrama THE EXILES (1961).
