Roger Moore

I always wondered why I could never spot Roger Moore in this film (even in a bit part his handsomeness would have stood out) until I clicked on his name on the movie's page and found out it's not THAT Roger Moore who's in the movie but a bit player (who turns out to be Robert Young's brother!!) who worked quite steadily for many years in Hollywood in uncredited roles. Should have realized that, the famous Roger Moore was certainly old enough at 24 to have been in movies but I don't think he had ever been to the USA at that point.

The Roger Moore/Let's Make it Legal mistaken connection comes from no less than an authority as the acclaimed historian William Everson who mentions the film in his Claudette Colbert book as being one of the early films of Fox newcomers Marilyn Monroe, Robert Wagner, and Roger Moore (although Moore was never a Fox contractee). Even the "experts" can get their facts wrong!
