35 minutes into the film the lady with Simon Russell on his boat says "I'm beginning to wonder how I did". Just then her right earring falls off.

I have seen this film dozens of times before and never noticed it. My wife saw it for the first time tonight and spotted it straight away.

I noticed that too. I was waiting for her to discover it in her lap but she just gets up. I'm surprised they didn't do a re-take or perhaps they did and the editor selected the take without noticing the earring drop.
