The Starlets parade

The original title was a better choice than Bikini Baby (the American title) which conjures up associations with the lamebrain American LCD beach teen movie series of the mid-1960s. The best thing in the ordinary Lady Godiva Rides Again is the 19-year-old Diana Dors as the streetwise Dolores, who is asked by the talent agent Eddie (played by the consistently competent Eddie Byrne) to the show the new girl "the ropes & some moves". Dolores, walking away, swiftly shoots back: "I'll show her the ropes, you'll take care of the moves"! The chorus of starlets (including Joan Collins on debut) have (surprise, surprise) little more to do than parade up & down in their 1950s swimsuits.
