Religious symbols in Kekec

First to say, I love story about Kekec and Kranjska gora, I adore Triglav national park. Why in fact, I'm here at the moment. :)
It's great to see how people lived here in the past. The movie has some surreal elements, Bunuel would like it.

I was amazed how much religious stuff were tucked in. In communist Yugoslavia it was forbidden to show holy cross, holy mother, talk about Bible story, reference to devil. I guess censors in Belgrade didn't pay much attention to this corner of Yugoslavia perhaps due to language difference. Thank God they didn't, this movie rocks, I liked it very much.
