This film reminded me...

The spirit of the beehive by Victor Erice! The pace and the way its themes are presented reminded me a lot of the sparse and slow way Beehive develops. Of course Erice's film doesn't have the goofy scenes presented in this work but the way these two little children lead the development of hard themes about death and loss made me think of little Ana Torrent in the spanish film. Do you feel the same?
