Texas Oil Wells?

The snippet with Gary Cooper about Texas shows a panoramic photo of oil derricks on top other oil derricks. This photo, or one very similar, has appeared in a few places all used to display that Texas and oil are synonymous. There is only one problem. If my memory is correct, this photo was actually taken in Oklahoma.

I am sufficiently curious to do some internet research (no, I am not sufficiently inspired to spend hours in a library) and see if I can recognize the photo (come on baby, 7 come 11, baby needs a new pair of shoes) and then find the source. If this post makes anyone else curious, help me poke around.

Good little movie, though. I note that it came out at the height of the Korean War and McCarthyism. No blatant attack on over-the-top jingoism in the United States, but a lot of favorite stars used to sell us all on inclusion. We are all Americans, when we agree and even more so when we disagree.
