One of the best ...

This is one of my favorite movie musicals, but seems to be very little known. It's too bad. The songs are top notch. Doris Day and Danny Thomas gave wonderful performances, and had great chemistry. It's surprising that Warner Brothers didn't try to capitalize on that by pairing them up again. I suppose that can be chalked up to the main trouble that Danny Thomas had in Hollywood -- he was thought to be too "ethnic" looking. Hollywood churned out quite a few biopics of famous songwriters -- some good and some not-so-good -- but "I'll See You In My Dreams" is one of the best of the genre.
