Some Random info...

William Lundigan and Susan Hayward's characters have a baby who dies at birth in this movie. Well, the tombstone for the baby that is shown at the end of the movie was made by my great grandfather. Also some of my relatives supplied some of the horses and old-fashioned buggies used in the film. My relatives lived in the area at the time and my great-grandfather and grandfather were in the monument business. This may not interest anyone, but I thought I'd post it anyway since there are no other posts about this movie.

I just now came across this post. My people are from the Cleveland, Helen, Clarksville area of North Georgia. My grt-grt grandfather was a lay minister of Chattahoochee Methodist Church in Robertstown that is the church featured in the film. His grave is in the background of some of the scenes that were shot at the front of the church. The preachers house, in the film, was just a little ways up the road from my grandparents house and you can just make it out in the background of the scenes filmed there.

Faugh a ballagh!!
