I Think the reason this movie is not shown much is the reference by one of the Communist leaders to blacks as *beep* more than once!! Only a station like TCM has the balls to show it at all! I'm sure it will go back to the mothballs now that they have shown it!

Although it is hard to find it airing on television today, I have found the DVD version for sale at Amazon and Turner Classic Movies web sites. I also found portions of it posted at YouTube.

I've listened to the old radio broadcast for many years on the internet radio station 1710 Antioch, Il. Dana Andrews played Matt Cvetic in the series. I was hoping he would has played the role in the movie, but Frank Lovejoy was good. The movie moved along briskly and had some tense moments. It was well acted. I'm glad they brought it to a conclusion. Also, this is the first movie I've seen Dorothy Hart in. She was quite lovely.
