Selling Cheapness
might be a great selling point in the making of a "B" movie, but while this does have its good points it also has a lot of rubbish. It has one of the worst bank holdups ever put on film and the end of it couldn't even supply a real dump. Imagine that -- only rear projection of a dump. Yeah, the woman who played Ma was good, but many of the shots of her reminded me of Harpo Marx; I guess the eastern European look made me think of that. The real reason for watching this old, lousy print is L.T. I can't say I hated it, cuz I didn't and the main reason I didn't hate it is becuz it's trash and trash is really what I crave.
Truth is stranger than fiction, but fiction must make sense.
