Abrupt Ending !!!!
Just tuned into this movie while Vera Ellen was dancing and then she was walking on a wall talking to David Niven. Next thing I knew the movie was ended and the credits were showing. What did I miss ???????????
shareI feel your pain. I was enjoying the movie and just as it's about to end, it ends abruptly. For some reason the end got cut off on TCM on May 4th. Then again, maybe it wasn't their fault. There have been a lot of storms around here and the Emergency Broadcast System has kicked in interrupting many movies I’ve tried to record to DVR. Usually they pick-up after the alert and I end up with two parts but this movie must have ended before that could happen.
Anyway, I checked on Netflix, Amazon, TCM, my cable provider but I couldn't find the movie to rent. How frustrating! I could buy it but I wanted to see it now. My version ended with Janet shoving 'Paul' out of her dressing room window. Finally, I Googled it thinking I’d find info on the ending but instead I find the full movie on YouTube.
