I just watched the movie. I wasn't expecting much but I laughed quite a bit. I've seen a similar plot before but I really had a great time watching the movie. Here I am once again liking a musical. What's up with that?

Actually, it's because no one breaks into song and dance mid-action. It's in the movie because it's her job and they're putting on a show. The musicals that annoy me are the ones that seem unrealistic. Oh yeah, everyone at that bus station knows the same song and all the steps to the dance. That kind of think detracts from the movie. In this I really enjoyed all the show stuff. Vera-Ellen is a beautiful dancer. I liked David Niven in it too.

By the way I rated it 8 of 10. I'd watch it again and again. Loved it!
