If ever a dvd needed a commentary ...
This movie might actually have been watchable if they'd taken the time add a commentary track. I'm referring to the Criterion six dvd box set disc. Is there a different dvd out that has more features?
shareIt was watchable for me, anyway I get your point. An audio commentary by a knowledgeable film historian would have been really handy. However I don't think this movie will ever receive such kind of treatment. It's not as well known and "popular" as let's say "Seven Samurai" or "Rashomon".
Actually I am already happy to see it released on DVD.
