For me, the palace intrigue and nonstop walking through corridors killed this movie.

No, it was the fact that the Martians had to wear spacesuits outside on their own planet, while the humans walked around in flight jackets and oxygen masks.

Everybody in the cast could have been wearing hula skirts or bikinis and it wouldn't have lifted this ancient joke out of the swamp for me. Such realism kills!

Decent clothes...a car, but what's it all about?
