One of the best of the genre.

Except when the camera is behind the soldier, his feet are almost a yard apart, and when the camera is in front of the soldier, his feet are practically side by side. This ruined the scene altogether.

I don't recall ever seeing another movie where the mines were in snow. There was something about that which made it very scary. The whole snow setting was really well done. It all looked so soft, a winter wonderland, but of course it was deadly.

I thought the scene was great. No music. Great editing.

The walk was very tense but when he picked up Lt. Gibbs he didn't mind his feet and stepped all over without any worry. That was rather silly.
