Father Of The Bride 2?

Not really. The remakes starring Steve Martin were very different than the original "Father of the Bride" and "Father's Little Dividend."

Somewhat, in that both fathers become a little anxious and uncomfortable upon discovering from their respective daughters that they are going to be grandfathers, and out of fear of becoming old, they try to make themselves "younger" (in "Dividend" Stanley goes to the gym, while in "Father of the Bride Part II" George dyes his white hair brown).

Never saw the Steve Martin 1 or 2. At least with the classic sequel, they weren't lazy when they named the sequel Father's Little Dividend instead of Father of the Bride 2. It also insults the (potential) viewer's intelligence when you number them. I mean, when they have the same cast, most ppl will realize it's a sequel!
