Love that woman!! Both Milland and Tierney turn in fine performances, so believable! Though milland character is a bit annoying , because Danny is just so cute and he doesn't pay him any mind like a father should at first.

About seat belts, when they go for a ride with Danny, no seatbelts or baby car seat was used!! Danby was held in her lap... Oh my!! Guess safety wasn't an issue at the time!! Hard not to notice! Now its a strick rule in movies to display good car manners.

Back in those days, the dashboard was made of metal and the steering wheels had pointy things on them. Most bizarrely, there were no headrests. You'd think someone would have figured out that installing them would prevent whiplash.
