Filming Exteriors

Does anybody know where in L.A. the exterior shots were filmed?

Wasn't the house the same one used in the early seasons of MY THREE SONS?

I suspect it was shot mostly on a back lot at MGM. Some of the houses look familiar (although I was thinking "Leave It To Beaver"). With addresses in the 100's it could probably only be just South or North of Beverly if it were a real street. However I do think that the scene where she's running after the mailman was probably filmed on an actual street somewhere. Near West side?

Looked like Culver City to me, the neighborhood where Laurel & Hardy filmed 'Hog Wild'. Not far from MGM.

According to Wikipedia, the house that Loretta Young's character lived in was at 116 North Beachwood Drive in Los Angeles. The house has since beem demolished and replaced by another.

Thanks. Something about the neighborhood was reminiscent of Mildred Pierce's neighborhood, but I guess it was coincidental.

I was only referring to characteristics about the neighborhood. I even paused it at one point in order to observe similarities. No biggie, though.
