Required viewing for all teachers/professors

As a university professor, I think this film is the truest account of the life of a teacher. Most films about teaching take the comedy route or over-sentimentalize the profession i.e., Mr. Chips. But having lived the life, and being about the age Crocker-Harris is, I regard this as essential viewing for anyone who teaches for a living or for any student who has issues with their teacher/professor.

I agree. My parents were both schoolteachers (retired now). After watching, my first thought was to recommend it to them. They have a dvd projector and screen, so the black and white photography will look great.
