Best of the Badmen is an entertaining western. It is in color and has a very strong cast.
Jack Beutel is very good as Bob Younger.
Claire Trevor is still beautiful but was starting to age some at this stage of her career.
All in all, a very good movie well worth watching.
I will admit Best of the Badmen was better than I thought it would be, despite its cliches. All the principle actors/actress performed well and gave a strong impression of their characters.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.
First act was most interesting with a kind of prequel set-up to earlier "Badmen" movies, essentially providing background for why they went "bad". 🐭
