SPOILER: Possibly, One Of The Funniest Scenes In Hollywood Film History?

I thought the most unforgettable scene in APPOINTMENT WITH DANGER(1951) was when Alan Ladd shoots Jack Webb in the gut at point blank range while they're both standing upright and struggling for the same gun as if they're almost dancing. Webb appears to go into rigor mortis as his facial expression starts to freeze up into his trademark DRAGNET deadpan while bobbing forward and Ladd tersely says "What's the matter Joe? Feelin' a little heavy...?

Thanks for the lack of a spoiler alert. Now I don't have to see the movie. Undoubtedly, inconsiderate people like you should be banned from these pages. I'll make sure to ignore any future posts by you.

Great! After my post, now you add Spoiler to the Header on your thread. Well, at least that will help others.

Are there really people out there who after finding out one plot twist, would not consider watching a movie. What about for the story, the acting, the rest of the plot, the photography, the history, the direction, the climax? Either you're joking or you're very shallow people.

Oh, get some perspective, Gladys.

Your reference escapes me. Unless, you're referring to the show "Pete and Gladys". Anyway, it is inane.

This makes no sense. If you haven't seen the movie, how could you know that the scene was a spoiler?- at no point does he mention the scene comes at the end of the movie. Unless you consider the description of any scene, whether early or late in a movie, a spoiler, in which case you probably shouldn't be reading threads about scenes in movies you haven't seen.
