It is so hard to believe this film was made 65 years ago. In some of the cafe scenes, the actors look like they could hear "Cut" and take out their cell phones. And the truth is they are probably all dead.

The film seems like it could have been made recently and the costumes at the party had such a rich contemporary feel. The set and art decoration is pure perfection.
