25 YO and still watching it regularly

As a child someone gave me this movie as a gift (VHS) and I haven't stopped watching it ever since.
I love it so much that sometimes I forget that it is not one of the most popular Disney movies and not everyone has seen it, so I have gotten myself into some awkward situations in life, quoting characters and expecting everybody to understand (which doesn't happen very often).
As a child, I found Wonderland very intriguing and loved every scene and song. As I grew older, I started noticing some details that I had never picked up before. Some people think I'm kidding when I say this movie is deep and definitely my favourite movie ever; it has so many layers.
Far from Carroll's work, this movie has a soul of it's own and I think superior to the book.
I would describe it as the G version of The Wall.

G version of The Wall? As in Pink Floyd's The Wall?

If you make that comparison, you must have come across the sync-up legends at some stage of your life...

Yes, Pink Floyd's The Wall.
You are right about the sync-up legends, I did hear that a few years ago, but from what I remember it involved The Wizard of Oz and The Dark Side of the Moon.
Anyway, what I meant with my comparison was that the stories are related to me. Both characters (Alice and Pink) are having this crazy "journey" inside their minds, and they are both in trial in the end. Of course there are huge differences, but both are absurd, and they both involve inanimate objects coming to life.
The impact this movie had on me as a child is pretty much the same The Wall had on me the first time I watched it; that's what I meant.

There's also a sync-up myth involving Alice in Wonderland and the Wall, plus more involving Atom Heart Mother, the song Echoes syncing up with the final chapter of 2001 (my favourite) and a few more.

Finding info on them isn't difficult, and I think you would enjoy it.

But yeah, I sure see the parallels.
