Kamiah (Blackfoot princess [Mitchell's wife]

I do not think that she (María Elena Marqués) gets enough credit. I thought she did a great job in this movie. She is very well known and admired in Mexico as an actress. Wikipedia does not even give her credit for the movie, which she was a bit part of.

We should be surprised? Hollywood often overlooked/s some of the best unsung performers. About time she got recognition for an excellent performance.

She was strikingly beautiful too.

She was one of the very best things about the movie. She succeeded in communicating her personality to the viewer, whilst barely speaking a word of English.
