Ricky Thinks He's Getting Bald

A truly funny gem from the end of season one. Lucy is a riot, as she pulls the stops out for
a solution to Ricky's "problem." The hair tonic salesman, the three bald guests, and Fred -
wearing a RUG - are hilarious.

But that final kitchen scene, where Lucy employs her "torture" method is some of the best
comedy of the series. The expressions of determination on Lucy's face, coupled with
with the eggs, oil, vinegar, and such, are great.

But upon my latest viewing this week, I noticed something cool. This is really ARNAZ's
scene. It's his shocked, bewildered torment that creates the howlers. I love the look on his
face, as he hops up and down, while Lucy uses a plunger (!) on the top of his head. And
when using it in the BACK of his head!! Laugh-out-loud funny!

For those who tend to doubt, or just forget, Arnaz's sizable on-camera gifts, give this ep
another run! You won't be disappointed.
