Will this ever happen? Do the music rights issue just make it impossible? I loved "MWAH! The Best of the Dinah Shore Show" that PBS broadcast in 2003. It was hoped this would lead to broadcasting full one-hour color videotape episodes, but that hasn't happened. What I've seen from the special, the color videotapes are extraordinary.
I wonder about this myself. It seems like the only way we can see it is to watch episode clips on YouTube, the Internet archive, or to watch it on the Jewish life network, where it airs frequently – if you have direct TV, you can get it. I've even looked for DVD recordings of the show, on places like Ioffer.com. Turns out, they don't exist.
Your best bet would be to watch it on the Jewish life network, and record the episodes, so that you will have them on DVD yourself. Because the likelihood of it coming out on DVD is very slim, it seems.
