Aftermath

Having read both books, ie Stolen Journey by Oliver Philpot and The Wooden Horse by Eric Williams (and seen the film) there was no mention of any feedback from Stalag 111 about the reaction of the Nazis when they discovered the breakout. That would have been interesting I think.
