Mitchum at his drowsiest ....


Man ! Mitchum's trademark was his nonchalant attitude and acting style, which served him well in movies like OUT OF THE PAST, but here he is actually required to act drowsier than usual because of a concussion he suffers near the beginning of the film, which makes his delivery painfully slow .... Yawn ! Add to this the already slow pace of the first 45 minutes of the film and you've got one loooooooong movie folks ! Don't start watching this one at midnight or else ... ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz
