Filming Locations

I've seen many references that part of this was filmed in Chicago so I wanted to see it and I finally did. Doesn't look like any of it was filmed in Chicago. The stockyards in the movie are the Los Angeles Union Stockyards (you see a palm tree in there at one point-no palm trees in Chicago) and the elevated train uses stock footage of New York-the 104th Street station is glimpsed, Chicago has no rapid rail transit at 104th St. Also-the stock footage visable outside the train windows appears to be reversed at one point-all the signs you see have backwards letters. I haven't been able to figure out where the tunnels were-Los Angeles? The Chicago freight tunnels have a rounded ceiling, not the angular one seen in the movie. Not a bad movie.

So, yes. You are correct. Nothing seems to have been filmed in Chicago.
