Cocktail made by Inspector Donnelly
Hello.
A trivia question I am sure but does anyone know the recipe for the coctail Donnelly made for Calhoun in Donnelly's house?

Definitely a hot toddy - but one ingredient is a mystery -
he puts in tsp. of sugar, hot water to taste, a shot of rum (that's the gag, he appears to be generous to Holden, but then takes the boozed up one), a cinnamon stick - but before the hot water he puts in a pinch of something - loose tea?, it's hard to tell.
Nice, tight little film, no?
