No, No, Nanette = Curse of the Bambino (Babe Ruth)

I caught Tea for Two for the first time the other day (loved it) and had no idea it featured the infamous "No, No, Nanette," which according to many Red Sox fans over the course of several decades, was the cause of one of the most heart-breaking droughts in the history of sports:

Of course there are differering stories as to what really happened and I'm not here to take sides on it, but knowing the Babe Ruth tale as many others do, I was fascinated to see a film featuring such a controversial play.

Most Red Sox fans did not take the curse seriously. The manager who sold Ruth had been an investor in theatre for years and the World Series drought started before Ruth was sold.

You can't let superstition rule your life.
