I love Eve Arden, and although she is not a great beauty I think she is very attractive. It always disappoints me that she never has a real romance. I think she is especially attractive in this movie - downright hot in the black and yellow ensemble in the final scene at the mansion.

I love her, too! I agree that her characters didn't have enough romance. If I recall correctly she had a romance in My Dream Is Yours, but I thought it was a bit uneventful. I like a scene in Mildred Pierce where a certain guy is checking her out while she's in a compromising position, so to speak, but unfortunately nothing happens between them.
