There is a bit of a resemblance there but I don't think they look that much alike except from some angles. They do have similar facial structures.

I caught a resemblance as well.
*But*, just before I noticed that---and I couldn't say which scene, though well into the movie---I caught a bit of a resemblance to a similar aged Jack Klugman, from a few angles.

I can see similarities to Alan Cumming but not to Jack Klugman. Wilding must have been around thirty-seven in this movie because he was thirty-nine when he married Elizabeth Taylor two years later. I found a picture of Klugman at the same age but I still don't see it.

Yeah, it was just from a few quick angles and a slight resemblance.
I could probably see him in dozens more shots, and not even see a resemblance.
