Jane Wymans character Eve,dressing in disguise as a maid is straight out of Agatha Christies Miss Marple stories.
I can totally see Margaret Rutherford trying to pull this off on her way to cracking the case at hand..Wonder if Hitch was influenced by Agatha Christies sleuth-Miss Marple?
