great movie...

Ella Raines was smokin' hot!

'You throw a nice shadow, lady...'
'You sing a nice song, mister...'

loved Monroe singing 'Mexicali Trail'... :)

'We all dream of being a child again - even the worst of us. Perhaps the worst most of all...'

Agree, Ella Raines was really good in this little B western.

The way I see it, is that we weren't retreating, we were just attacking in a new direction.

Amen about Ella! Glad this movie was filmed in TruColor, you can see her beautiful green eyes. In fact, I put her beauty on a par with Gail Russell, there's something about a pretty face and those exotic green eyes.

The fact she was married to Robin Olds most of her adult life sends her stock way up in my eyes, I've always considered him a hero, even if he was a bit of a bad boy. He is a legendary ace of WWII and Vietnam, especially in the Air Force F-4 Phantom circles, planned and flew a MIG trap mission that decimated the North Vietnamese Air Force and has been featured in a Discovery Military Channel documentary.

Anyhow, this is about Ella, but I had to throw that in there. Too bad Gail Russell didn't live as long as Ella. I have a real weakness for those green eyes.

Come see a fat old man sometime!
