remake not likely

Hi,one can never be too rich or have too many friends. With the world the way it is,it's highly unlikely a story about someone holding up a city with an atomic weapon would be a good idea for a current film. Might give some weak minds a bad idea.

reply

Maybe it would be a good idea to suppress all copies of this film, then.

I'm quite convinced that something like this WILL happen. It's simply a matter of time before some lunatic faction are able to get hold of some type of weapon of mass destruction and hold us all hostage to their insane demands. This film is really quite prophetic when we consider it was made almost 60 years ago!. Some things never change.

reply

No doubt some lunatic faction who follow a middle east based religion, (no names, no pack drill). Sorry, getting a bit political here.

reply

The film's premise didn't make a whole deal of sense; what was to stop the government agrreing to his demands and then carrying on as normal once he'd been apprehended and committed to the local funny farm?

reply

You don't honestly think the British Government would do anything so dishonourable do you? Really!

they sorta remade this in 1997. The Peacemaker.

Umm ... Broken Arrow was made 46 years after Seven Days. So which was the new idea?
