Is that Isa Miranda's Real Voice ???

Miranda's lips don't quite synch up with her dialog in La Ronde (especially in her scene with Barrault while doing her makeup in front of the mirror). I know she spoke several languages, but did she speak French well enough? Has anybody researched this?

I recently read an article on the film which said that Ophuls was uncomfortable with Miranda's Italian accent, so decided to replace it.
