Very often,(too often), colouring of a classic such R.G. and Alastair Simms' "A Christmas Carol" 1950, absolutely destroys the 'mood', and the use of 'shadows' that maintains those essential moods necessary in those wonderful Black and White Classics !!..Ron...

AMC, in the days it was jumping the shark but hadn't quite dumped old movies, would have shown a colorized version of this movie. TCM? Never. TCM has never shown a colorized black-and-white film.
