I guess that's the difference between then and now.
Yeah it's sad; thanks to all the pervs of the world these days we have to go around wondering what people are. Things that once had meaning and made sense don't seem to anymore. If that weren't bad enough, there's also Political Correctness that causes some people to fear speaking and others to be ready with a quick apology for whatever they say.
