I loved this movie as a kid. As an adult it's painful to watch. First off Gail should have slaped Joan's face. She's constantly coming on to her boyfriend. That party scene was hilarious. The venom Joan released at gail. Then there all kissy kissy. How phony. This 1950 movie is ok for late night viewing. Though very unrealistic. Like their victorian set breakfast table. Vi should haeld Joan down while Gail stomped her.

Agreed! There was something about her face that made me want to slap the piss out of her! She was a sneaky, mean, rotten, jealous ugly little girl!

Kudos to the actress! She played the spots off that little rodent bitch!

Joan Evans was a interesting young actress who could hold her own, try to catch her performances in "On The Loose" and "Roseanne McCoy" she actually gets handsome Farley granger in that one!
