Pedro

I don't know if this is the correct movie. I saw a movie when I was about 4 years old, it was black and white. Well I remember a couple of scenes from the movie. The first one was, where this kid is in this school and the teacher keeps on asking his name (being that he was a new student), but he doesn't not want to say it, finally he does and he replies: "Pedro Romero", but with a harsh voice, like he has a very bad infection in his throat. Well some kid starts to make fun of the way he speaks and other kids start to laugh, and he does this so many times until "Pedro" stabs the kid in his eye with his pencil.

The other scene is where a bunch of kids, including "Pedro" sleep on a sidewalk and cover themselves with newspapers.

Is this the same movie?
