'Ojitos' destiny (spoilers)

I really enjoyed this film. I think it shows very well some of the problems of Latin America.

1) Poverty

2) People who do not trust in the Governmental institutions (The grandpa's final decision of throwing Pedro's corpse in a dump.)

3) Conservative's point of view represented by Don Carmelo who is always mentioning the General Porfirio. (Right-wing conservatives have always supported coup d'état in Latin America and they usually want to resolve the problem of crime "killing all the criminals" as Don Carmelo says when "El Jaibo" is shot.

4) Lack of sexual education. Women having many children in spite of their poverty.

...and many others.

I wonder what was the destiny of "Ojitos". He was such a nice character, always trying to be honest. Moreover, he didn't follow the gang.
