I loved Amanda Randolph's performance as Dr. Wharton's housekeeper in this film. Her performance was so natural and sincere. I would like to learn more about her; I think I will seek out some of her other performances.

I agree....I loved her performance too. I think she and her sister was on the old Amos 'N "Andy show back in the late 50's.

I will have to find dvds of that show, or see if Netflix has it.

Yes, Amanda was. She played the Kingfish's mother-in-law. Her sister Lilian actually was on a different radio program: The Great Gildersleeve. She played the maid.

She was practically a regular on tv's Make Room For Daddy for 13 years

She was great. Sweet and straightforward, I really liked her in the film.
