When Edie shows up at Dr Wharton's home, Dr Wharton gives Gladys instructions about how to care for "Miss Jackson." Gladys corrects Dr Wharton with "Miss Johnson!" Was that a GOOF?

Maybe the actress corrected him thinking that they would do another take but then in editing they ended up using this one anyway?
