This film is full of interest aside from anything else for the locations, which show various parts of post-war and still bomb-damaged London. One of the most striking is the location for much of Fabian's flight toward the film's end, on the South Bank where the old Lion Brewery had just been demolished to make way for the new Royal Festival Hall, about to be constructed for the Festival of Britain (1951). The Shot Tower which features was demolished when the Queen Elizabeth Hall was built in the following decade.

The narrow alleyway in which the Silver Fox Club is based is called Goodwins Court ... it runs off Charing Cross Road, not far from Leicester Square tube station, and it looks pretty much the same today.
