Train station location


Being from the Boston area, and near Cape Cod, I enjoyed the locale shots. I couldn't discern what train station that great ending/climax, esp since one train was marked Boston & Albany (Boston to NY, related to NYCentral) but the North and South Station areas have changed so much since the movie was made, I can't place what station this would have been. Any info?

Don't know if you've checked by now but under "Filming Locations" in the entry right on this here site a *Trinity Station* is mentioned. Does that ring a bell?

Btw Boston had such an awesome urban landscape (it's still a great city, of course) before they tore down half the city for the Government Center project with that concrete atrocity of a City Hall as its "jewel in the crown."

Trinity Station would of been about where Back Bay Station is now. The area by the Prudential Center was at that time a train yard.

I lived in the Back Bay for many years, so I know the area and its history. That filming location was Trinity Place Station, which was approximately where Back Bay Station is today. Here are a couple of pretty good pictures:
