In the final street showdown scene, wasn't Flynn riding Roy Rogers' horse Trigger? Sure looked like Trigger, smartest horse in the movies.

shareInteresting thought. It turns out that Trigger has his own IMDb page, which lists all the movies he was in. According to the list, Trigger was not in this film. Maybe it was a similar-looking horse.

"Beautiful evening. You can almost see the stars..." — J. Frank Parnell, "Repo Man"
Hey Geezer,
You and Eric must be pretty good horsemen to be able to think a horse looks enough like another horse that they might be the same horse. I can tell a horse from a mule, and I can see that draft horses look different than the horses my neighbor uses for rodeo events, but my neighbor had two horses that looked the same to me even though they said they looked nothing alike except for being brown. They used to shake their heads in sorrow for my inexperience, but they were great neighbors, and the horses were great to watch.
Best wishes,
Dave Wile
I entered this message board only to see if anyone knew about Flynn´s horse. To me it looked like the horse often used by Randolph Scott in his films. (RS later bought the horse for himself). But alas - "davidvile" above pointed out that lots of horses have the same exteriors and you can not pick one from the other, sadly.
shareTrigger was in Adventures Of Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn, however he was ridden by Maid Marian (Olivia De Havilland)
