Never Saw This Film.....

Probably a little late, but to others who want this movie, it can be found on Amazon.com.

Netflix has it. It's a remarkable film for at least 3 reasons. First the "real life" actors that appear in it via the filming in the hospital. Second, because it was a wake up film to people about something they (we) seem not to want to accept --- our own reactions to disabled vets who are hurting inside long after their recovery has gone as far as it can. And third, because of Brando in his first film. It's easy to see how he graduated to stardom.

i would definitely recommend this movie, if you are looking for a great, powerful, moving performance.
