Does anyone know why Jean Hagen's little boy at the beginning would look familiar? I didn't see him under the cast list (his name was Pete) but he looks like a little boy who might have been in television later on or something.

He sure is cute that's for sure! :)

He's in the full cast list now. He had prominent roles in The Man Who Knew Too Much and Bigger Than Life. The former is most likely to be where you'd seen him.

Thanks so much for telling me the ending. I really appreciate. Lana Turner must have been about 29 or 30 years old when she filmed it, but she looks older to me.

for some reason women back then looked older than 40 year old women today do.
my gosh, my daughter is 45 and looks 30.
